Arnold died peacefully at his home on September 7, 2022. The cause of death was given as natural, but no further details were given.

Just weeks before his sudden death, David A. Arnold posted a clip on TikTok announcing his new comedy tour titled Pace Ya Self. “New tour. New cities. New jokes. Arnold to Charlotte, Phoenix and San Francisco since the beginning of August, and the comedian would have been on stage in New Brunswick from September 22nd – that’s no longer the case.
