The name David A. Arnold was as familiar in the American comedy world as it was in the television landscape of the United States. The comedian, who was born in Cleveland in the US state, was not only successful with his own stage programs but was also responsible as a series actor, screenwriter and producer for successful series such as “Fuller House”, “House of Payne” or “Side Hustle”. In the future, however, the entertainment world will be one talent poorer: David A. Arnold died suddenly and unexpectedly at the age of only 54.

The death of the thoroughbred comedian, whose full name was David Anthony Arnold, was confirmed by his family in a statement. “It is with great sadness that we confirm the untimely death of our husband, father, brother and friend David A. Arnold. Please pray for our family and respect our privacy as everyone is shocked and devastated by the loss,” it said in the notification of the survivors. David A. Arnold died peacefully at his home on September 7, 2022. The cause of death was given as natural, but no further details were given.

Just weeks before his sudden death, David A. Arnold posted a clip on TikTok announcing his new comedy tour titled Pace Ya Self. “New tour. New cities. New jokes. A new ‘That’s why my family is messing with me,'” the comedian wrote on his post. The first stops on his tour have taken David A. Arnold to Charlotte, Phoenix and San Francisco since the beginning of August, and the comedian would have been on stage in New Brunswick from September 22nd – that’s no longer the case.
