She serves as the Assistant Director of the Veterinary Services Department of the BARCS Animal Shelter, where she works. Dana Hersl was a kind person and a fervent supporter of animal welfare.
She was renowned for her constant kindness and always welcomed visitors with a bright smile. She was among the most formidable individuals anyone had ever met. She accomplished all this despite having Lyme disease, which wasn’t discovered until several years later. Even though she was in continual discomfort, she continued carrying out her plan.
Few people witness kindness and compassion, yet she leaves a legacy of both. She affected the lives of several people. She lived a life of unrestrained love and selflessness. Several people’s lives would never be the same without her. Her absence will be deeply felt.
