On February 24, 2023, Dallas Jones, a well-known American figure best known as the owner of Beech Bend Raceway and Amusement Park, passed away peacefully.
Dallas Jones’ family and friends have not officially announced the cause of his death. His family members expect to make further announcements regarding his funeral services very shortly.
Everyone has paid tribute to and expressed grief for him on social media.

Dallas was a real giant in the drag racing industry and has been a staunch supporter of the NMCA and NMRA from the start. Dallas was incredibly proud of his lovely family, Bowling Green, his fantastic racing track and entertainment park, and his hometown. A photograph of NMRA 2021 was taken (Steve Wolcott, Alfreda Jones, Bill Tichenor, Dallas Jones). Dallas, you will be missed. R.I.P. You and the entire Jones family are blessed by God. You were unique, and having you in our life has made us all better off.”
At Bowling Green, a city in southern Kentucky in the United States, Dallas Jones was well-known for being the prestigious owner and manager of Beech Bend Raceway and Amusement Park.
Dallas and Alfreda Jones bought the racetrack in 1984, and since then, they have made Kentucky’s legendary Beech Bend Raceway Park one of the sport’s most well-liked venues. In addition to being an early supporter of the NMCA and NMRA, he was a true giant in the sport of drag racing.
Numerous successful events, including the Holley National Hot Rod Reunions, returned under his skilled direction and dedication. Over the years, he helped many individuals across the sport and the nation by opening doors and providing support.
