The figure of Tim Lincecum is tremendously adored in the San Francisco Giants, being the cornerstone of the post-Barry Bonds era, in which he was part of the reconstruction and consolidation of the dynasty that won three World Series between 2010 and 2014 After his retirement, his public appearances have been very few and now that the Giants will celebrate the 10th anniversary of the 2012 championship, Lincecum does not appear on the guest list and many asked why.
Now, everything seems to indicate that Timmy Lincecum is going through a very difficult period in his life since the Giants organization has confirmed on their social networks that the girlfriend of his former pitcher, Cristin Coleman, has passed away and they sent him their condolences through the said post.
According to information from The San Mateo Daily Journal, Coleman had received a diagnosis of terminal cancer and died on June 27, with Cristine serving as principal of an elementary school in the city of Burlingane, California in San Mateo County, close to the city of San Francisco, with Lincecum accompanying her in the final part of her illness.
Unfortunately, no family member or a close friend has spoken anything regarding Cristin Coleman’s funeral details on the media.
