“Craig Markus, my dear friend, you are closer to your beloved stars.
I’ll always remember your kindness and your infectious love of space.
I will never forget your call from Cape Cañaveral to share that experience.
And what a devoted Dad you were.
You’ll be so missed.
RIP.”

“I’ve always seen Craig Markus as my Obi Wan Kenobi. He always had wise things to say about everything I was going through. This was especially helpful while we were in college together at Art Center. One of my favorite things ever was after a rough creative patch Craig said to me, “It’s all a batting average, Ro.” Craig loved Bruce Springsteen, sports and space. And he got me to love those things too. Thank you, Obi Wan. You will be greatly missed.”
