For three years as a letterman, Brown proudly represented Alvarado, and the Indians have recognized him with honorable mention in the last two districts. Cole Brown officially signed his pledge to play football at McMurry University after being named to the all-district honorable mention team twice.
Brown ultimately decided on McMurry as his final destination, where he will contribute his skills as an outside linebacker, out of a pool of four alluring offers, including invites from Midwestern State University and Hardin-Simmons.
Everyone that knew Cole loved him for his smile, his laugh, and his sense of humor. He had a caring heart and so much love for life. He loved his family, that car, and playing softball with his best friends.
