Singer-songwriter and actor Clifton Oliver, who lived in New York, New York, was declared dead by his family.

Broadway performer Clifton Oliver was a brilliant individual with boundless talent and inventiveness. Over his entertainment career, he consistently emerged enthusiastic, and his endearing smile never wavered.
The first national tour of The Lion King included Clifton as Simba, and the performance was a triumph for his Broadway career. He also held viewers’ attention on the Broadway stage in the roles of Fiyero in Wicked and Benny in In the Heights.
His performances in Bella: An American Tall Tale at Dallas Theatre Centre and Ragtime in Los Angeles further demonstrated his flexibility.
