Carl Roach Death: Obituary, Cause Of Death, Funeral

Jesse Alexander, a beloved sister, reported on social media on Sunday, March 5, 2023, that her brother had died away and said,

“We tragically lost my brother Carl Roach today. If you want to come to celebrate his life, the wake will likely be tomorrow at St. George 305 Midland Avenue in Joliet. When we get them, we will post the times for the wake and funeral.”

It is not made known what exactly caused the death. Everyone misses the magnificent souls and prays for her to be with them in heaven.

His younger siblings Jesse (Lauren), Laura (Jeffrey), Michael (Amanda), his parents Thomas and Susan (née Hebda), two nephews, and close friend Tracy Schuster all survive Carl.

On Tuesday, March 7, 2023, there will be a visitation from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at St. George Serbian Church, followed by a Panikhida service.

The funeral will occur at St. George Serbian Orthodox Church, 305 South Midland Avenue, Joliet, Illinois 60436, on Wednesday, March 8, 2023, at 10:00 AM. a graveside burial at Elmhurst Cemetery, 1212 E. Washington St., Joliet, Illinois 60433, was then conducted.

Carl was born on May 31, 1984, in Joliet, Illinois. He received his BA in English from Purdue University in 2007 and his MA in English from the same institution in 2010. He continued to inspire innumerable students in his seminars at Lewis University and Joliet Junior College with his love of the English language and literature.

Carl cherished playing football, disc golf, softball, golf, and other sports with his father, brothers, and numerous friends. He wrote “Little Red Rocket” and was a skilled photographer. He was a devoted moviegoer and music enthusiast when he wasn’t working or participating in sports. He took a global tour, stopping in England, Italy, Greece, Canada, and Mexico.

He loved to talk about life while sipping cold drinks and was always glad to offer suggestions and his opinion on anything. Because of his fidelity and generosity, everyone who sought him out the thought of him as an angel and a friend.

He could become friends with anyone he met thanks to his curious thinking. He accepted innumerable individuals who required a helping hand, a listening ear, and an open heart.
