On November 14 in Basel, a very famous TV news reporter, who is known as Betty Rollin, passed away at the age of 87 in Switzerland. She actually wrote about how she was dealing with her illness. According to the reports, she decided and chose to end her own life by seeking help.

Betty Rollin, a well-known TV reporter who wrote honestly about dealing with sickness, has died. She was 87 years old. She chose to end her own life with help from a service called Pegasos.

Betty’s death was announced and confirmed by one of her very dear friends, known as Ellen Marson. She mentioned that Betty was recently going through a very tough health condition; she was bearing pain from arthritis and stomach issues. She also said that Betty was already very broken from the loss of his husband, Harold Edwards, who died last year.

This book was very close to her heart as in that book she penned about talking about getting diagnosed with breast cancer. In that book, she also stated how she went through the surgery of getting her breasts removed. The purpose of that book was to let people realize how important it is to get your cancer diagnosed at a very early stage. Through this book, a lot of people talked about and discovered breast cancer. Later, she wrote another book named Last Wish” in 1985. The purpose of writing this book was to explain how, as a daughter, she helped her mother to end her own life and escape from this pain, as her mother was a patient with ovarian cancer. Eventually, both these written books got noticed and were turned into TV movies.
