Tributes:
Paige Boller has shared a long, heartfelt post on Facebook,
“An amazing man, Barry Andrews, has been laid to rest. Since I was a child, he was always been a great friend and a companion on guys’ trips with my father. Many years had passed since I last saw Mr. Andrews, but we did have a brief encounter at my father’s 70th birthday several years back.
My father always spoke highly of him, praising how he treated his employees, his strong work ethic, and his devotion to his family.
As young children, my brother and I spent a lot of time with the children of Mr. and Mrs. Andrews. We lived in the same neighborhood, which allowed us plenty of time to be carefree and play with Natalie and Blake when the world was quieter. We always had fun during our carpool to school, and some of us always got into a bit more mischief than others.
Throughout the years, I have always looked back at our time with this remarkable family with warm sentiments. My heart and prayers are reaching out to all the friends and loved ones left behind.
May he RIP.”
