Ava Woods, a 14-year-old girl student at Baldwinsville’s Durgee Junior High School, tragically and unexpectedly passed away on Friday, January 20, 2023.

Around six in the morning, a shooting event occurred alongside her, leaving her dead from the gunshot. Christopher Wood, his father, age 51, was also discovered dead. The only survivor of Ava, her mother, who announced the devastating news of the death of his daughter and spouse on Friday afternoon.

She once placed second and was disappointed, but she said it motivated her to work even harder the following time.

She excelled academically and was a track and field athlete. Ava put forward the same amount of effort in her academic work as she did in her athletic pursuits, according to Stubbmann’s analysis of her report cards.
