According to police, two people deceased when their car split in half in a collision on Saturday on Queens’ Belt Parkway.
The collision victims were a male, 35, and a woman, 29. According to preliminary findings, a Dodge Challenger traveling west on the Belt Parkway close to Springfield Boulevard struck a Mazda CX5 from behind at about 3:45 in the morning.
According to the police, where the two victims were riding, the Dodge appeared to veer off course before colliding with a pole and breaking in half.
The woman passed away at the spot. The man was brought to Jamaica Medical Centre in terrible condition, but officials claimed he had no hope. The 32-year-old Mazda driver, according to the police, was unharmed.
