Arthur Maggiora Death: Obituary, Cause Of Death, Funeral

Skip’s Music owner Arthur “Skip” Maggiora, passed away after a prolonged struggle with kidney disease. It was reported that he had died on February 23, 2023.

Also, he was a founder of the Association of Independent Music Merchants, L.L.C. (AIMM). Several people, including his friends and the staff of Skip Music, were shocked and saddened to learn of his passing. He was 75-year-old age.

There is no information about the funeral services. Everyone is sharing their memories of him, grieving his loss, and giving condolences.

Maggiora, a Sacramento native, supported himself through college by working at a nearby music store and playing in an original rock band. In addition to being a local favourite, Maggiora’s band was also involved in organising concerts across Northern California. Jimi Hendrix and Big Brother and the Holding Company were performed by his band as opening acts. This background cemented Maggiora’s place in Sacramento’s local and national music scenes.

“Skip is a local legend with a more than 50-year career who has accomplished a great deal in the music business and as a local business owner. He was a creative thinker who constantly planned his course of action. He quickly made a name for himself as a trustworthy supplier for both professional and amateur musicians,” stated Skip’s Music’s VP, Mike Snyder.

In Sacramento and all of Northern California, Maggiora has consistently been a vocal supporter of music education and musical expression. Skip’s Music is renowned for its performance programmes, including the globally recognised Weekend Warriors programme for seasoned artists and the Stairway to Stardom programme for aspiring young musicians.
