In a heartbreaking turn of events, the tragedy unfolded in Henry County where a 19-year-old, teenage Annissah Franz, a resident of Holgate, Ohio, lost her life after sustaining fatal injuries in a deadly two-vehicle car crash that occurred on Friday evening. The shocking incident reflects the urgent need to prevail in road safety precautions in society due to the increasing cases of traffic accidents.
How did the incident happen?
The tragic incident occurred before 5:30 on Friday evening when Annissah was driving on township road E in Marian township southbound and collided with the pickup truck which was operating by the 68-year-old man, was driving westbound on county Road 10A, could not stop at the stop sign on the road and hit the car which was operating by 19 years old girl Annissah Franz.
Henry County Sheriff’s Office revealed that the driver and passenger of the pickup truck were airlifted to St. Vincent’s Hospital due to severe injuries; however, Annissah was declared dead at the scene due to sustaining severe injuries in the collision.
The authorities are diligently working to identify the exact cause and circumstances that led to the fatal accident and will soon conclude the matter of the accident.
