Breaking news: NHRA pro stock driver Angie Smith was taken to the hospital after she met an accident during her racing on 30th September.

Report: The incident happened due to the qualifying crash at the World Wide Technology Raceway near St. Louis at the 12th annual NHRA Midwest Nationals. After completing her race, she separated from the bike and finally stopped.

She was at 198 mph speed, leading to losing control of the bike. NHRA’s safety and rescue team were there and immediately took her to the nearby hospital. After scans, it was identified that her two ankles were broken, and she suffered from face wounds and a rash. She was scheduled to meet a skin graft surgeon the next day.

NHRA’s medical team reported that she was communicating and was conscious at the time of the incident.
