The actress Beatriz Álvarez-Guerra has died this Tuesday in Cotobade (Pontevedra) after the vehicle in which she was traveling plunged into the river.

The accident occurred around three in the afternoon on Tuesday in Loureiro, at kilometer 1 of the PO-235 highway.

The Civil Guard arrested the driver, who did not have a driving license, and is being investigated for a crime against road safety and reckless homicide. Subsequently, he has been released, but with charges.
