Ace Mason, son of Hunter Mason, passed away on Saturday, January 20, 2024, after spending days at a children’s hospital. His former School, Cross Creek Christian School, appealed to their students and staff on January 15, 2024, to send prayers to Ace and his family as he was “in need of prayer warriors and a miracle!” The School also quoted a verse of Psalm 77:14 which read,

“You are the God who performs miracles; you display your power among the peoples.”

Despite heartfelt prayers of the community, Ace Mason passed away, leaving family, friends, and the community heartbroken. His family released his obituary, which read,

“For God so Loved the world that He gave His one and only begotten son that whosoever shall believe in Him shall not perish but have eternal life- John 3:16. Ace Hunter Mason has just that, eternal life. He recited this verse daily.”

A celebration of life for Ace will be held at Fairview Baptist Tabernacle Church in Sweetwater, TN, on Wednesday, January 24, 2024, at 5:30 p.m. Burial will take place at Sweetwater Memorial Park on Thursday, January 25, 2024, at 10:00 a.m.

The family has requested that donations be made to support Sweetwater Dixie Youth Baseball instead of flowers. The family wishes that the donations be used to pay for the expenses of athletes who need it to continue Ace’s legacy of #23 for years to come.
