Without giving details about the musician’s death, the group led by vocalist Luis Álvarez lamented his departure and highlighted the joy that he always radiated; He stressed that he was now starting a new path to meet one of his loved ones.

El Haragán reported that Jerónimo gave his “last effort” doing what he loved most, “playing.”

The news surprised the group’s fans, who immediately posted messages of support for the band and the trombonist’s family.
