The STATE OF MEXICO, MX.- Tabasco actor Octavio Ocaña, known for his role as “Benito Rivers” in the Televisa series “Neighbors”, died while driving a truck in the municipality of Cuautitlán Izcalli, State of Mexico, presumably for a shot of a firearm, published Proceso.
The events occurred on Friday afternoon when the 22-year-old was driving along the Chamapa-Lechería highway towards the municipality of Atizapán in the company of two people, who were detained.
The first police versions indicate that, at the time of his death, the actor was carrying a firearm in his hand and there were glasses with alcoholic beverages that they allegedly had been consuming.
Allegedly, municipal police officers stopped him. However, the driver would have ignored it and tried to escape, but collided with another car and then crashed into the wall of the freeway.
Inside the truck, there was a shot with a firearm, which would have been the one that took the actor’s life. So far no information has been given on who would have detonated it.
Photographs published by journalist Carlos Jiménez show that the body of the mortal victim had a gun in his right hand.
However, other photos published on the Twitter account of user Diego Piñon show the corpse’s hand without a weapon and in another position. Identified as a lawyer, he asked to “investigate the policemen” who reported the incident.
