The unprecedented partnership with the singer made the American brand soar on the Stock Exchange
Justin Bieber’s stripped and comfortable style inspires many fans to dress. From this Tuesday (10/13), one of the pieces that the Canadian singer is wearing out there can already be purchased by his admirers. It is a yellow shoe, the result of a partnership between Drew House, the artist’s clothing brand, with Crocs.
The rubberized shoe model divides opinions in the fashion group. However, the American company is betting more and more in the fashion area. In addition to collaborations with artists, the Crocs sandal has already been present on the catwalks of Christopher Kane in a customized version with crystals and a futuristic touch, during London Fashion Week. Now, it’s time for Justin Bieber to join the starred portfolio of Crocs partnerships. On the first day of this month, the professional published an unpretentious photo of the comfortable shoes floating in a pool and captioned with a “soon”. It didn’t take long for the buzz to take over Instagram.
The novelty moved the Stock Exchange. The stock price of Crocs Inc. rose to 13% on October 1, after Bieber instigated followers with the collaboration.
Among the comment bets, many guessed that a partnership was to come. Five days ago, Justin returned to the social network, cutting a cake in the shape of the classic Crocs sandal, and announced the collab.
“As an artist, it is important that my creations remain true to me and my style,” explained Bieber in a statement. “I use Crocs all the time, so designing my own pair came naturally. With these Crocs, I just concentrated on doing something I want to use, ”he added.
