After revealing that he has lymphoma (cancer of the lymphatic system) in October, Jeff Bridges returned to social media. The Oscar winner for “Coração Louco” (2009) and Dude interpreter of “O Grande Lebowski” (1998), published a record on Instagram in which he appears hairless for the first time since he spoke about the diagnosis.
“Here is the most recent one: feeling good, I shaved my head, I have a dog (Monty)”, he wrote in the caption of the image, still remembering his 71st birthday, which happened on December 4th.
After the post, his fans sent many positive and loving messages in the publication’s comments.
Bridges has been receiving messages of encouragement since the diagnosis and had already said that he was “deeply grateful” for the love and support, both from his family and friends and from people he never saw, thanking him for his prayers and good wishes. See below.
He also received an incentive from the paid channel FX, the Hulu platform and producer Touchstone Television, for whom he was recording the action series “The Old Man”. The companies responsible for the series issued a joint statement in which they say: “Our thoughts go out to Jeff and his family during this challenging time and they have our love and support.
