It’s not rare for famous actors and actresses to have been hanged to death or commit suicide in India. Apart from this, according to one report, India faces more than 1 lakh cases of suicide in a year, and India’s homicide rate is 4.5% per 100,000.
Many actors and actresses from India left this world at a very young age and were at the peak of their careers.
Pallavi dey’s live-in partner is being questioned regarding the actress’s death.
According to a police statement, the Mon Mane Na show actress was found hanging from the ceiling fan.
“Prima facie, it seems that it is a case of suicide. However, the conclusion can be made only after the post-mortem report is available. We have started an investigation after filing a case of unnatural death”, says Police.
Investigation and suspicions are going on regarding Pallavi dey’s death, as Police suspect it is a suicide.
Moreover, Pallavi was rushed to a nearby hospital called MR Bangur hospital in Kolkata, where she was declared dead.
Pallavi’s live-in partner Sagnik Chakraborty is suspected and questioned regarding Pallavi’s death. Because ever since day one, when Pallavi rented an apartment in South Kolkata, her partner Sagnik Chakraborty was with her.
Upon listening to all the allegations against Sagnik Chakraborty, his mother defends his son in the following statement.
“They used to live together. Although we were not in complete support, we allowed them since they are grown-ups. A few times, I had asked Sagnik to stay elsewhere and start living together once they were married. They didn’t have any major issues. I don’t know what happened.”
