One person was stabbed at the Once Upon A Time music festival in Los Angeles, which takes place at the Banc of California Stadium.
The incident was reported on Saturday around 20.40 local time. The victim is said to have been a male artist in his 30s.
Now TMZ reports that it was rapper Darrell Caldwell, known under the artist name Drakeo the Ruler, who was stabbed. He is said to have died from his injuries.
Drakeo was one of dozens of several artists at the big all-day event Saturday Exposition Park in Los Angeles.
Several hip-hop artists, including Snoop Dogg, Ice Cube, The Game, 50 Cent, and YG perform at the festival. According to Los Angeles Police Department officials, the city has closed the concert.
He is said to have been behind the scenes around 20.30 local time when a fight broke out. During the fight, he is said to have been stabbed, according to TMZ police.
Several sources have informed TMZ that he died of the injuries after he was transported to the hospital with critical injuries.
The police will investigate the case, as well as interview all the artists and people who were there when the fight broke out.
The festival closed immediately after the fight.
