Disney is preparing a film inspired by Colombia: When is it released?

Walt Disney Animation Studios announced that they are working on a new animated film called “Encanto” and is inspired by Colombia. The film project is scheduled to premiere at the end of 2021 in the main cinemas of the world.

“Encanto” is directed by Byron Howard and Jared Bush, co-directed and co-written by Charise Castro Smith, and with music written by American actor Lin-Manuel Miranda.

Disney’s new animated film focuses on the story of “an extraordinary family, the Madrigals, who live in the mountains of Colombia, in a magical house, in a vibrant town, in a wonderful and charming place called Encanto. The magic of Encanto has blessed all the children in the family with a unique gift, from super strength to the power to heal ”.

However, the film will immerse the audience in a fascinating story when Maribel, the only member of the Madrigals family who does not have powers, realizes that she is the only hope to save Encanto from a danger that surrounds him.

The soundtrack for “Encanto” will feature music in both English and Spanish and is the first Walt Disney Animation Studios film to be made entirely in the homes of graphic animators, due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
