Ethan Peters, better known as “Ethan Is Supreme” on his YouTube channel and social networks, died of an apparent overdose on September 5 , his friends and colleagues announced this Sunday through social networks. I was 17 years old.
According to the entertainment site TMZ, Peters passed away this weekend after taking Oxycodone, a very powerful and potentially addictive opioid pain reliever.

Peters had more than 500,000 followers on Instagram and more than 100,000 subscribers on his YouTube channel . his fan base was constantly growing with makeup tutorials and fashion photoshoots.
his best friend, Ava Louise, broke the sad news and talked about Peters’s addictions. ” My best friend in the whole world, my soul mate … the only person there for me when I had no one, “ Ava wrote on Twitter. “ I love you Ethan, I am speechless. My heart is broken”.
“Addiction is a disease,” Louise tweeted. “I had to put Ethan aside in the last few weeks and talk to him about substance use. Everyone near him was scared. I just wish I could have tried harder. Shit, I wish I had yelled at him more. “
The young woman asked his fans to respect Peters’ family and give them privacy during this sensitive time.
The day before his tragic death, Peters shared a photograph on his Instagram profile from as a child alongside a current one. He captioned the post: “I would like to thank everyone who harassed me. I do this about once a year to see how much I have changed and the only thing that has not changed is the dark circles ”.
Peters, a native of Texas, started his YouTube channel in 2017. In his second video, the teenager said he was expelled from school for being gay, but later clarified that he was not exactly expelled, but it was highly implied that the administration wanted him to go away.
Thanks to his popularity on social media, he had his own brand, Hellboy, which sold sunglasses, T-shirts and chains.
