Mohan Singh, the pitch curator of Abu Dhabi’s Sheikh Zayed Stadium, died on Sunday morning. His body was found in his room before the match between Afghanistan and New Zealand.
Mohan Singh, the curator who made the pitch of the match between Afghanistan and New Zealand in the T20 World Cup 2021, died on Sunday morning. Mohan started working in Abu Dhabi after working for a long time at Mohali Stadium in Punjab. He was the main pitch curator of this ground.
He was found dead in his room before the match between Afghanistan and New Zealand. He came to Abu Dhabi in the year 2004. Earlier he worked as Ground Supervisor and Assistant Coach in Mohali. Before going to UAE, he took the training of pitch curator from BCCI. The cause of the death of Mohan Singh is not known. The local police are investigating the matter. Mohan Singh’s family has been informed and he has left for Abu Dhabi.
