A tragic accident at the Mugello circuit during a race held this Sunday has caused the death of Stelvio Boaretto , a 59-year-old amateur driver who raced the Italian Amateur Cup.
It was the Italian Motorcycle Federation in charge of delivering the tragic news through a statement: ” A fatality deprived us of a true enthusiast and ruined a Trophy where passion is the protagonist.”
A multiple accidents between several pilots ended with Boaretto on the asphalt, being treated by the medical services. He was later transferred to the hospital , where his death was confirmed.
In addition to being a fan of the world of motorcycles, Boaretto was also a great fan of boxing, a sport that he practiced normally. The Italian Boxing Federation has also mourned his death with an emotional statement.
