According to the Portuguese magazine Caras, the mother of the former Real Madrid and FC Barcelona footballer, among others, died this Monday, February 15, in the Intensive Care Unit of the Portuguese hospital due to a degenerative disease that he suffered.

In addition, from Nova Gente they assure that Maria Joana Caeiro had worsened in recent days, finding herself “in a vegetative state” while undergoing “permanent hemodialysis”. And this, added to the complications due to her age, has caused her death.
