Jiu Jitsu Professional Athlete Dies At 30

Madjer Okde died last Saturday (8) at the age of 30 due to Covid-19. The fighter fell victim to the disease 15 days after his father also died of the new coronavirus.

On April 16, Madjer even shared on her Instagram an image in which she regretted her father’s death.

Okde was hospitalized for 10 days at Hospital Santa Casa in Cuiabá, Mato Grosso, and had no comorbidities. The fighter suffered complications and needed to be transferred to the ICU.

The Alliance JiuJitsu CBA team posted a message lamenting the fighter’s death.

“You just went ahead. He met the destiny that we will all meet soon. Thank you Madjer! Our dear Zóio ”.
