Sad news arrives on Tuesday, the second day of the week. The former American Soccer Player, Gordon Lee died at the age of 87 years.
Gordon Lee, a former Everton, and Newcastle manager has died via The Sun.
Lee took charge of the club between 1977 and 1981 and led them to a League Cup final, two FA Cup semi-finals, and two top-four finishes in the First Division.
Previously, Gordon Lee took charge of Port Vale, Blackburn, and Newcastle who went on to have spells with Preston, KR Reykjavic, and a temporary role at Leicester in 1991.
His first job as a club manager was with Port Vale which lasted eight years with 258 games.
Lee, who is also a former footballer, has spent almost his entire playing career with Aston Villa.
That period was around 1955-1966 and the former full-back has made 142 appearances for Villa, scoring twice and winning the League Cup in 1961.
Lee also finished a season at Shrewsbury but played just twice before becoming a coach.
