The athlete competed in the 2012 Track World Cup and among his achievements, two-stage victories stand out in the Vuelta de Chile, in addition to having hung three gold, two silver, and three bronze medals in the Pan American Cycling Championships held. between 2008 and 2015.
The athlete’s family confirmed the news through their social networks. A cousin of Mansilla wrote on her Facebook account that “ this night is by far one of the saddest and bitter of my life. My cousin Cristopher’s fight against the damn bug is over ”.
