Telemundo will present a Súper Domingo de Clásicos headed by the Liga MX Súper Clásico : CD Guadalajara vs. Águilas del América, and a special episode of elimination Sunday at Exatlon United States, this March 14 from 7 pm Eastern / 6 pm Central. On the West Coast, the action begins at 6:30 pm Pacific with the Liga MX Super Clásico, followed by Exatlon at 9 pm Pacific.

Telemundo’s Super Domingo de Clásicos presents a fierce two-and-a-half-hour eliminatory special episode of Exatlon United States, in which competitors from Team Famosos (Red Team) and Team Contendientes (Blue Team) will face the most challenging obstacles to win a spectacular new SUV. Hosted by Frederik Oldenburg alongside Marisela “Chelly” Cantú as a sportscaster, the episode will be full of surprises and impressive challenges and circuits in an action-packed Sunday ceremony.

Mexican soccer classic

Telemundo Deportes presents exclusive live coverage, from coast to coast, of the long-awaited Super Clásico when Chivas host América in the Guard1anes 2021 tournament, at 9:30 pm / 6:30 pm Pacific on Telemundo, Universo, and as streaming to through and the Telemundo Deportes application. The Chivas face their biggest rival in the first Super Classic of the season after their second consecutive draw against Mazatlán last Saturday.

Andrés Cantor will narrate the action with Manuel Sol, with Arantza Fernández reporting from the pitch. To complement coverage of the match, Miguel Gurwitz and Carlos Hermosillo will present extensive pre-and post-match coverage from Guadalajara, including special editions of  Zona Mixta on Saturday and Sunday from the Akron Stadium. The two experts will also present the Chivas Extra Star Soccer program from the venue, live on Universo at 9 pm Eastern / 6 pm Pacific before the game, and at midnight Eastern / 9 pm Pacific, after the game.

Telemundo’s pre-match coverage will include a special report that relives the “86 Bronca”, in which some of the protagonists of that day meet, from both teams, including Hermosillo, Benjamín Galindo, Zully Ledesma, Fernando Quirarte, and Cristóbal Ortega. The stars will recreate the memorable fight that took place in the 1986 final between América and Chivas, and which forged the deep-seated rivalry of both teams, through their own testimonies, photos, and illustrations.

As “La Casa de las Chivas in the United States,” Telemundo Deportes will also offer expanded content and exclusive interviews on its studio and late-night shows, including the daily digital episodes of  Titulares y Más . Fans can also find ongoing coverage of the Chivas on the Rincón Sagrado digital episodes dedicated exclusively to  Las Chivas, and a special episode of  Ask me Anything , featuring an interview with Miguel “Piojo” Herrera on Friday, March 12.

The Telemundo Deportes presentation of the match will be available with comments in English by Carlos Yustis and Jorge Calvo, and will be available as simultaneous streaming on  and on the Telemundo Deportes application. Additionally, English audio coverage of the game will be available on NBC Sports Audio channel 211 on SiriusXM. Similarly,  NBCSN will broadcast coverage of the game in English on Monday, March 15 at 2 pm ET.
