The father of rapper Enezimo, Sr. Jose, died in the early hours of Friday ( December 18 ) in Covid-19, two days after his son also died of the disease. The death was confirmed by Emicida on her social networks.
“Earlier this week, we lost our brother Enézimo. Today, unfortunately, her father, who was also hospitalized, did not resist and also left us. Rest in peace, José, ”wrote Emicida.
Rapper Enezimo passed away last Tuesday (12/15). In addition to being a cultural producer, he was an art educator at Fundação Casa and ran in this year’s elections for a position as councilor in a collective candidacy for PSOL in Santo André, on ABC Paulista.
On social media, Emicida lamented the death of his friend and said that “Brazilian hip-hop has lost one of its biggest hearts”.
