SANTO DOMINGO.- Bachata singer Manny Jhovanny died this Saturday morning after hitting his vehicle with the back of a truck.

Manny was driving a white BMW SUV. The musician, Julio Dolores Díaz Almonte “Manny Jhovanny”, was a native of Agua Clara, Santiago Rodríguez.

His body is currently in the old Villa Altagracia Social Security hospital.

The accident occurred at Km 36 of the Duarte highway in the Santo Domingo-Santiago direction.

A source revealed to El Nacional that, after ending a party in Dajabón, Manny Jhovanny traveled to Santo Domingo to take a relative to the José Francisco Peña Gómez International Airport of Las Américas and upon returning, crashing on the way back
