Univision announced that the melodrama “La hija del Embajador” is scheduled to premiere on Tuesday, March 2, 2021, at 10:00 PM Eastern Time. The television project stars the actors Engin Akyürek and Neslihan Atagül.
The Turkish soap opera will replace the production “Dulce Ambición” in the programming of the important Spanish-language television network.
‘La Hija Del Embajador’ focuses on the story of “Nare, the daughter of an important diplomat, and Sancar, the son of a lumberjack, who are convinced and fall in love from an early age. Over the course of 12 years, they only see each other during the summer holidays, but they keep reminding each other on a daily basis. Over time, due to family pressure, they decide to marry in secret. “
The melodrama’s plot will immerse the audience in a suspenseful tale when Nare (Neslihan Atagül) suddenly disappears during the night of his wedding to Sancar (Engin Akyüre). However, many secrets will come to light with a surprise appearance by Nare during one of the most important days in Sancar’s life.

Actress Neslihan Atagül returns to the Univision screens after her successful participation in “Amor Eterno”, the Turkish soap opera that broke the audience record on the television network in 2020.
Engin Akyürek is known to the Spanish-speaking audience for his participation in the melodrama “¿Qué culpa has Fatmagül?”, Broadcast in the United States in 2020.
“La Hija Del Embajador” was directed by Emre Kabakuşak and written by Ayşe Ferda Eryılmaz and Sedef Nehir Erdem.
