Woman dies after falling off a cliff when taking a selfie on a trip with her husband
The 33-year-old woman had been touring Europe in a van since the start of the coronavirus pandemic.
A 33-year-old woman died after falling off a 30-meter cliff in Belgium while trying to take a selfie in the middle of a trip with her husband.
This is Zoe Snoeks , who confirmed months ago that after the start of the pandemic, she dedicated herself, together with her husband, Joeri Janssen, to touring all of Europe in her van.
Through Instagram, the woman revealed beautiful landscapes that she knew as she progressed on her journey with her husband .
However, everything ended in tragedy when they visited a cliff near the town of Nadrin, in a province of Luxembourg, the same day that they would return from the trip to their home located in Limburg.
According to People, Joeri Janssen said that “we got up very early to take photos of Herou”, a rocky elevation that is located just over 1.4 kilometers high.
“It’s almost always foggy there. It’s great for photos. We got there before 9:00 am,” he added.
At one point, Snoeks asked the man to take care of the dogs to take a picture, but in a matter of seconds, she disappeared. Her husband didn’t notice anything.
“I turned to the dogs and told them to wait. When I turned around, Zoe was no longer there. She had just disappeared. It must have happened in less than five seconds,” he added.
When he looked into the void, he realized that there was dust raised and after trying to call her he realized that he did not react. Had died.
The fact was alerted to the authorities and rescuers recovered the body with the passing of the hours .
