Indian-American teenager Shreyas Kelkar, 16, is thought to have jumped off the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco, California.
A youngster missing since December 13 has a distraught and grieving family waiting for word of his whereabouts. Shreyas Kelkar, a high school student from the United States, has been missing since the evening of December 13, when he was last seen at the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco.
After a splash in the ocean was reported, the search went immediately after the California Highway Patrol station. The young man was a native of Sunnyvale, California. Shreyas’ bicycle, helmet, and bag were discovered on the bridge.
Despite not having opened his son’s phone, Shreyas’ father, Ashish Kelkar, claims he had not discovered anything in the bag. However, he told the authorities that his son had been somewhat quiet for the previous two to three months and that the parents had put it down to the “teen phase.”
They have reported him missing and are hoping someone will find him. Homestead High School student Shreyas had a passion for studying applied mathematics. Families of victims and psychiatrists working with the Bridge Rail Foundation have pushed for life-saving changes to the bridge over the years.
A long-sleeved T-shirt and black pants were the last things seen on him. Friends and coworkers are all looking for Shreyas Kelkar and asking for assistance. They need volunteers who can access special tools, including boats, sonar, planes, submersibles, and diving/scuba gear.
According to Kelkar, his son, Shreyas, must have taken the Caltrain, exited Kings Street, and then travelled to the Golden Gate Bridge.
