St. Ambrose University student-athlete Patrick Torrey played basketball for Pekin in the past. He was one of St. Ambrose University’s top basketball players and was in his final year of competition. His participation on Pekin’s regional championship team in 2019 was his most noteworthy accomplishment.
When it came to Patrick, he always looked forward to going to the gym. He had a smile that could brighten any room and always knew how to make us laugh.
How hard he worked throughout his senior year at Pekin. Took him to places he didn’t know he could go. Watching everything come together as soon as the effort started to pay off was exciting. He certainly enjoyed the excursion and his time with his team in the gym.
