The ‘influencer’ fell into the void after a solo parachute jump.
The world of influencers is in mourning, especially TikTok followers, after learning of the unexpected death of Tanya Pardazi. The 21-year-old, and Miss Canada semifinalist, died last Saturday, August 27, in a tragic accident while practicing skydiving, while completing the first course with the Skydive Toronto school in Innisfil, Ontario (Canada ). Faced with this sad news, the company explained that the person who had died “released a rapidly rotating main parachute at low altitude, without the time or altitude necessary for the reserve parachute to inflate.”
However, as Tanya Pardazi’s friends told American CTV News, it was the first time she had jumped alone. In this case, and according to the company, students are required to do a day of practice on the ground, before being able to complete the jump alone. When she fell, the influencer was immediately taken to the hospital, but she arrived there lifeless.
The skydiving company added to her statement the following words of condolence: “The jumper was a recent addition to the skydiving community and she will be missed among the student’s new friends. and fellow Skydive Toronto Inc. The Skydive Toronto Inc team has been deeply affected by this accident as they have perfected their student training program for over 50 years.”
The 21-year-old was a TikTok influencer with more than 95,000 followers. She was also known for having entered and been a semi-finalist in a Miss Canada pageant. Under her sadness and dismay, her friends wanted to pay tribute to her with words: ” She really lived every second to the fullest,” said one of them, Melody Ozgoli, to the aforementioned medium. “This is the biggest shock for us.
It’s very difficult to process. It’s been a couple of days, but we still don’t believe it,” she explained in disbelief at the recent news of the death of Tanya Kimia Sepanlou, another close friend of the young woman, called Pardazi ” one of the bravest girls. Every time we saw her, we knew that an adventure awaited us, because she did not like to be bored, neither her nor her relatives. Everyone who knew her thought of her,” she said sadly.
The South Simcoe Police Service also confirmed the incident in a statement it shared last Sunday. At the moment, the police investigations continue, together with the Coroner’s Office and the team from the skydiving company. This incident occurs a month after an Ottawa firefighter died at the age of 45 in a skydiving accident, specifically at an airport in Arnprior. In addition, last June, a 28-year-old man also died in another mishap of this type in Innisfil.
