How did the accident happen?
On Monday morning, 22 October 2023, the Long Branch police department responded to a tragic call regarding the tragic accident that occurred on Route 71 in Monmouth County at around 7:30 a.m.
Upon receiving the call, multiple law enforcement agencies rushed to the accident scene and found a women who suffered from multiple injuries in the accident. Unfortunately, the victim was identified as Renata Osmo, a resident of Long Branch, New Jersey, who lost her life at the accident scene.
Due to the tragic accident, Route 71 is under active investigation due to which the road between Roosevelt Avenue in Deal and the northern reaches of Roosevelt Avenue in Long Branch has been temporarily closed.
