Mike Tomlin was a prominent musician and record producer best known by his stage name Tomlinese, was shot and killed in Wilkinsburg on Saturday, May 27, 2023, and passed away.
He was declared dead at the scene. According to information from the Allegheny County police department, emergency services were called to the 1300 block of Franklin Avenue at around 11:53 p.m.
According to Jamal Campbell, Tomlin’s life was cut short following the shooting on Saturday night in Wilkinsburg. According to the Allegheny County Police, it occurred on Franklin Avenue near Midland.
Campbell remarked of Tomlin, “He was simply a pure, loving spirit, an energized spirit. Anyone that came around him just liked him. He performed with us at events, singing, rapping, and doing various other things before becoming a producer.
The family may shortly announce the details of the funeral services.
