The Luke H. White Memorial Fund was established by Audrey White on Thursday, May 25, 2023, to aid the deceased’s family members. Its message reads:

On May 24, 2023, Luke White passed away in his sleep. Throughout his 24 years, Luke found a way to touch hundreds of lives through his compassion and devotion to those around him. He found joy in the success of those he loved most. His heart was full of passion. Luke was a supporter of the arts and history. He devoted his days to working with children aged out of the foster care system, serving as a mentor. What Luke wanted most was for everyone to have what they truly needed, including access to a vital education.

With this passion in mind, we have created this fundraiser to help support the education of those who need it most. We want Luke’s passion and memory to live on by helping others become lifelong learners just as he was.

While we have yet to decide on the formal institution where the scholarship will be established, we will contact all who have donated when the decision is made.

Thank you for helping to keep Luke’s memory alive and allowing us to nurture the love of learning that was instilled in Luke his whole life.
