Lori McClintock, the wife of U.S. Representative Tom McClintock, passed away last year at the age of 61. On Tuesday, delivered January 4, 2022, final farewells in the East Lawn Cemetery of Elk Grove chapel, 9189 E. Stockton Blvd, Elk Grove, with the service starting at 10:00 am.
KHN has revealed that Lori McClintock consumed a plant known as mulberry, which is normally seen as safe and is used as a herbal cure for several conditions like diabetes, obesity, and high cholesterol.
According to the coroner’s statement, Tom McClintock discovered his wife unconscious at their Elk Grove, California, home on December 15, 2021. After casting his vote in Congress the previous evening, he had just returned from Washington, D.C.
Sacramento stated that she passed away due to gastroenteritis, an inflammation of the stomach and intestines brought on by “adverse consequences of white mulberry leaf intake.” She also suffered from dehydration. The coroner’s report stated that the day before she passed away, she complained of “an upset stomach.”
The autopsy report discovered a part intact white mulberry leaf in Lori McClintock’s stomach. It is unclear from the information if Lori McClintock used a dietary supplement containing white mulberry leaf, consumed fresh or dried leaves, or drank them in a tea.
On May 8, 1960, Mother’s Day, Loretta Joy McClintock, also known as Lori, was born. She spent three years traveling the country with the Continental Singers before relocating to Thousand Oaks with her family in 1977. There, she attended Moorpark College and obtained her permit. On November 7, 1987, she was married to Tom McClintock.
Conservative Republican Tom McClintock was chosen to serve as the 4th Congressional District’s representative in 2008 and has since been re-elected five times and a former member of the California Legislature. They raised Shannah Colleen and Justin Thomas in Thousand Oaks, Rocklin in Elk Grove, California, throughout their 34-year marriage. She worked for a while in churches.
