Police in Leicester have launched a murder investigation in response to Liam Waldron’s death following a stabbing. When a stabbing was reported on Gipsy Road, the police were called.
The incident happened just after lunchtime on June 15, 2023, near the Melton Road crossroads. Officers attended along with paramedics from the East Midlands Ambulance Service.
The person, whose age has not been released, was pronounced deceased a short time later.
The Leicestershire Police report that no one has been detained. Police were summoned to a Melton Road school following a report of threats when they arrived.
The family will announce the funeral rites at a proper time; everyone, including friends and relatives, is in sadness and grief over his passing.
