The NFL player passed away this Thursday. The reasons for death are unknown.
Jessie Lemonier, former Detroit Lion player, has died at the age of 25, as reported by what was his team in 2022 on his Twitter account.
“We are shocked and saddened to learn of the death of our former player, Jessie Lemonier. He was a model player and a wonderful young man gone too soon. Our prayers are with her family and friends during this very difficult time,” the team statement read.
The causes of death are still unknown . His agent, DEC Management’s Drew Smith, has confirmed to ESPN that he was expecting a baby with his girlfriend.
There were several messages that his colleagues dedicated to him on social networks, saddened by the unexpected news. “My brother. We came into the league together and we had to fight all rookie year to get to where we are. You were always full of life. I love you brother!”, were the words that his partner dedicated to him Breiden Fehoko from him.
Lemonier signed for the Los Angeles Chargers in 2020 as a free agent, from Liberty, and was present in six games, but with little action. In 2021 he signed for the Detroit Lions, with whom he started on occasion and participated in seven games. He was also with the Cardinals.
This year he was going to play in the XFL with the Arlington Renegades, although he finally signed for the USFL’s Houston Gamblers.
