New Jersey’s Paterson resident Jarel Lowery sadly passed away. His family members made a Facebook announcement about his passing.
He was engaged to Brandy Cherelle and was to marry her at the time of his death. Jarel and Brandy shared a great childhood and a deep affection for one another.
The family will shortly disclose his cause of death, and the specifics of his obituary will be made public as they choose. Before his untimely demise, Jarel Lowery taught physical education in Paterson Public Schools. He was praised for being a loving, devoted, brave, and driven individual.

He always reached out for advice and was always humble. As a player, he was the consummate BROTHER/Teammate. I’m praying for understanding and cover for his family. I thank his parents for letting me be part of his life. I was truly a proud Coach. Lord, hear our prayers.”

Having completed high school at Paterson Catholic Regional High School Following his 1998 graduation from Paterson Catholic
Regional High School, Jarel started his quest for academic success.
In 2012 he graduated from Syracuse University with a Bachelor of Science in Communication and Rhetorical Studies. Jarel continuously accepted new challenges as his career developed, establishing a lasting legacy.
Jarel Lowery is remembered by those who knew him as a devoted and caring son who held a particular place in their hearts.
His empathetic attitude and unwavering dedication as a physical education teacher impacted numerous pupils’ lives. Paterson laments the passing of a superb teacher
