Sondra Wiener, 87, and her husband, Marvin, 90, were found unconscious and with gunshot wounds inside their Boynton Beach home by Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office deputies Thursday afternoon. Today the couple was identified by the authorities, and the results of the analysis of the Medical Examiner’s Office are still awaited to determine their cause of death.

“Detectives from the Violent Crimes Division arrived at the scene to investigate further. Upon further investigation, it appears to be a murder/suicide,” the Sheriff’s Office statement said. “Upon arrival, the agents located an elderly woman and a man who had died from a gunshot wound, ” the officials detailed, according to The New York Post .
