Apparently, the young man’s girlfriend tripped on the boat and fell into the sea, so Escotet Alviárez tried to rescue her by jumping into the water. After managing to save the girl’s life, who came out of the water unharmed, he hit himself with the boat’s propeller, which has caused his death, according to journalist Angela Oraa.
It is worth mentioning that Escotet Alviárez is the youngest of the sons of the banker and María Isabel Alviárez; who also served as director of Banesco USA, the US division of the bank, based in Miami.
