Hilman Hariwijaya, the writer dies at the age of 57. Hariwijaya will be remebered for his 80’s hit novel Lupus.
Agung Saputra, a film producer posted the sad news on her Instagram account with a caption, “Innalilahi wainnailaihi roji’un @thehilmanriwijaya, may your deeds be accepted by Allah SWT.” This verse is called out in the Islamic religion when a person is dead. The meaning of the verse is, “Verily we belong to Allah and verily to Him do we return.”
Reportedly, Hariwijaya died on March 9, 2022, at 8:00 AM.
The sudden demise of Hilman Hariwijaya broke many hearts. A few days ago, Hariwijaya was hospitalized. He posted a video of himself lying on the hospital bed. Hariwijaya posted this video on his Instagram account. Moreover, it was December 2021 when he posted the video. Fans have posted condolences messages and tributes under his last post.

Hillman was born on August 25, 1964. He was one of the great writers and his importance got more after he wrote the short story, Lupus. The story was published in Shark Magazine in December 1986.
