Comedian Gallagher died this morning in Palm Springs, aged 76, from multiple organ failure. He had been facing a number of health problems in recent years and was in hospice care.
The information was confirmed to TMZ by the comedian’s publicist. “Gallagher was on the road touring America for decades. He was pretty sure he held a record for stand-up shows. Even with his detractors, he was an undeniable talent and an American success story,” the rep recalled.
